The St. Paul's Junior Varsity team traveled to Tilton to play the Rams and returned victorious by a score of 2-1. With this being the first game of the season for the team on an artificial surface, it took some time for them to settle in and adjust to the faster pace. Once they settled in, they never looked back. The first goal was scored in the first half by Nick Patterson on a converted penalty to put the Big Red up 1-0 at the half. Francesc Rubiralta then stretched the lead to two goals with a long-range shot that was too much for the Ram's keeper to handle. Tilton then cut the deficit in half, but the lead held thanks to strong defensive play from Jehyeong Suh, Jeet Ghosh,
Colin Campbell, and Alex Gallien in front of keeper
Aarav Mehta.
Luca Walter and Kingsley Koch were dangerous all game stretching the field on sending in crosses from the outer flanks. The Big Red look to keep the positive vibes flowing as they travel to Worcester on Wednesday.
