Battling until the end, the Big Red just couldn't convert against New Hampton's strong defensive stand. A slower paced crowded game for the first three quarters, SPS found their groove in the fourth, spread out, connecting and possessing the balls into the circle drawing multiple corner opportunities with no luck. The Huskies had two corners and two goals to St. Paul's School's 10 corners, 0 goals. New Hampton did a great job sending every ball right catching us on our backside. Shout to Husky's #26, #9, and the goalie who came up with big saves. Gabby Smith '28 and Abby Hafer '27 were stalwarts for SPS in the back field with outstanding jabs and block tackles.
SPS takes on KUA home on Wednesday, October 7.
