Eyes were on the sky all Wednesday, April 24, ahead of St. Paul's School hosting Lakes Region League opponent Kimball Union Academy but reasonable optimism faded when a downpour soaked the courts during warmups. The teams packed up and headed to the three indoor Stovell Tennis Courts and adjusted the format to all pro sets. SPS swept with its second 9-0 victory this week.

Poppy Duggal '25 at number three singles needed less than half an hour on the court for her emphatic 8-0 win.Â

Amelia Guest '25 at number six both cruised to 8-1 wins. Co-captain
Helen Berger '24 at number two and Char Machiels '25 at number four had comfortable 8-2 wins.

Sophia Burdge '24 fought to a tiebreaker and kept her focus to prevail 8-7.

Skylar Christoffersen '24 at number one went 8-1 while Burdge and Guest at number two turned in an 8-0 win.

Lidia Zur Muhlen '24 at number three paired up for an 8-3 win.
