On line 6, Lidia Zur Muhlen '24 learned from her first set, set things straight in the second and then triumphed in a tiebreaker to make it 3-6, 6-2, 1-0, securing the overall match for SPS.
In doubles play, Harder and Duggal at number one won 8-3 while Machiels and Zur Muhlen at number two finished at 8-5.
Making her varsity debut, JV player Ari Kunze '27 joined Emery Gay '26 at number three for a valiant match before the duo succumbed 5-8.
