On the warmest day of the season so far, the GVT team hosted Holderness School on Monday, May 6, for a late match featuring all pro sets. Big Red took the day with an 8-1 win.

Liz Harder '25 at number one, co-captain
Sophia Burdge '24 at number five and
Amelia Guest '25 at number six all went 8-0. Co-captain
Helen Berger '24 at number two and Char Machiels '25 at number four both posted 8-1 wins.
Poppy Duggal '25 at number three finished 8-2.

Logan Bensadoun '25 and Emery Gay '26 played number three and finished 8-0 while Burdge and
Lidia Zur Muhlen '24 on the second line combined forces for an 8-3 win. In the top spot, Machiels and
Skylar Christoffersen '24 survived a momentum shift to tie things up only to bid the match adieu in a tiebreaker, giving Holderness the win.Â
