Summary: St. Paul's Wins 8-1 at Home Versus Beaver Country Day
On our "Senior Day" we celebrated Jacob Kwon, our lone 6th Former, throughout the afternoon. From introductions and his grand entry, "Standing O" and all, to the final point of his competitive 8-5 singles win, Jacob displayed his skill and will to win throughout. In doubles Hunter Morton played witness to Jacob's precise attacking volleys. Meanwhile Kyan Hands and Peter were doing fine at #2. Jackson Sung and Pierce Trevisani also controlled their match well. In singles Jacob was staged on the showcourt to a substantial crowd. Leaving it all out there, especially in the last few games, Jacob created an impressive atmosphere at the Stovell Courts today. Alex Gallien, Jason Lee, Keijiro Hori, and Pierce Trevisani all cruised through their singles matches. David Kwon entertained us all at the end with a massive comeback to cheers that rivaled Jacob's match, but his opponent held serve at 7-6 to close it out. Next up we send six guys to represent St. Paul's School in the Lakes Region Tournament on Saturday, May 11. Go Big Red!
