During a rainy week, KUA was eager and kind enough to travel to the Stovell Indoor Courts at St. Paul's so that we could get this match in. Originally the match was scheduled to be at KUA. We lead off with doubles, with our 6th Formers Pierce and JB at #1. Pierce's volleys again proved to be solid, while JB served well and made some key groundstrokes to get the win. Peter and Kyan looked good in the beginning and end, only dropping a few games midway through their win. KJ and Jason rounded out the doubles sweep with a strong finish. Last time we played KUA they were up 3-0 on us after doubles, so this was a good start. Hunter only made a few errors on his way to a relatively clean win at #1. Not an easy task by any means. Enoch had a battle at #2, and his groundies held up to win by a narrow margin. Alex used all of his repertoire of shots to beat KUA's former #1 player. Jason blasted some groundstrokes so overpower his opponent at #4. Jackson and Christian were able to get their matches in, even though we had clinched the match. KUA came up with two wins, showing that they are tough throughout their lineup. Three days and three matches as we travel to Beaver Country Day on Wednesday, May 7. "Big Red on three!"
