In our first Lakes Region League match of the season we did well against another top team in the league. The match was played at the Stovell indoor tennis courts due to the weather. In doubles, Peter and Cesc served well to win at #3. Max and James worked their way to a victory at #2. Hunter and Kyan gutted out a close one, winning in a tiebreaker, to help us sweep doubles. In singles Max, Peter, and James did not drop a game, which is no easy feat. Alex and Hunter battled well and won their singles matches. Kyan was the evenings' entertainment, as he and New Hampton's number two went down to the wire. Both players were making big shots late in the match, neither one giving the other a break. Kyan earned this one out and lit a fire for the entire SPS team! Well done everyone!
