2nd eight: Andover pressed out early, but SPS responded well, stopping Andover at about ½ length.  Andover pushed again at 500m, stretching their lead to 1¼ lengths. SPS pushed back in the middle 500m, but Andover worked to hold their lead and then extend their lead to 1 ½ lengths.  In the 3rd 500m, SPS pressed early, but Andover responded well, and finished 2½ lengths ahead.                       Andover: 4:57.0              SPS: 5:06.1

3rd eight: Andover pressed early, but SPS stopped their movement at ½ length.  At 500m Andover pushed, extending their lead to nearly 1 length.  In the middle 500m, Andover extended their lead to nearly 2 lengths before SPS responded.  SPS made a push early in the 3rd 500m, but Andover first held their lead and then extended it coming out of the bridge.             Andover: 4:58.3              SPS: 5:07.8

4th eight: both crews got our well, with neither crew gaining clear advantage in the first 500m.  At 500m, SPS made a push and began building a lead over Andover.  SPS steadily built on their lead through the middle 500m, effectively taking control of the race.  In the 3rd 500m, SPS continued to press away to finish 3½ lengths clear.
SPS: 5:11.8              Andover: 5:27.0

5th eight: both crews got out well, with SPS taking a slight advantage early.  Andover had difficulty with a seat in their boat, and SPS began to pull steadily away.  In the middle 500m SPS continued to build their lead, as Andover struggled with rhythm, given their seat issues.  SPS closed out the race well, with a clear gap on Andover.
SPS: 5:24.9              Andover: 5:42.9

6th eight: both crews got out well, with neither crew able to establish an advantage.  In the middle 500m, each crew pressed for advantage and SPS caught a substantial crab.  Andover pulled about a length clear as a result, though SPS recovered well.  SPS worked hard to close the gap with Andover, but was unable to make back all of the margin, with Andover ½ length ahead at the finish.                           Andover: 5:48.4              SPS: 5:50.7
