Both teams were strong in the circle on Saturday, but St. Paul's defeated Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue 3-2. Heather Cotter started the game for St. Paul's and recorded 21 outs.

St. Paul's opened the scoring in the third after Jade Hill homered to center field, scoring two runs.

Rihana Gomez homered to left field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth for the Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue.

Cotter earned the win for St. Paul's. They gave up five hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking four.  Schuman took the loss for Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue. They went seven innings, surrendering three runs on seven hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Hill provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led St. Paul's with two runs batted in. They went 2-for-4 on the day. Cotter went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead St. Paul's in hits.

Gomez, the number seven hitter for Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue, led the way with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day.

Schuman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue in hits. Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue worked the count all day, tallying four walks.
