We lead off this Friday evening match with a strong showing in doubles. We modified the lineup a bit and Worcester brought only 6 guys, so there were no exhibition matches. James and Max played well together in the number one slot. Peter and KJ teamed up at two for a solid display of quality serves. Sanjaya and Bo demonstrated a high standard at number three. With zero games lost after doubles, the singles players tried to keep the good, clean tennis going. Alex offered the fans some drama with a second set tiebreaker, which he pulled off to clinch the win at #1 singles. Kyan, Max, Peter, and James all methodically worked through their opponents. The team cheered on our last man standing, KJ, while he finished up his tough match in the #6 spot. KJ confidently made a ton of overheads to earn the final win of the day for SPS.
