In the final regular season matchup for the SPS Golf team, the Big Red traveled north to take on the Hornets from Proctor. In a competitive matchup, the Big Red came up just short but will have the opportunity to avenge the result at the upcoming Lakes Region Championships. In the first pairing, #1

William Birks competed well together in order to secure a tie in the best ball competition. However, both players lost their individual matches resulting in the Big Red being down 0.5 – 2.5 after the first round. In the second group of matches, the Big Red Golfers bounced back. #3

Callum Green were dominant as they earned all three available points, catapulting the Big Red to the lead by a score of 3.5 – 2.5. In the final pairing, #5 Sammy Pargiolas and #6
Nolan Chen competed well but could not quite match their Hornet opponents, resulting in them losing all three points. With a final score of 3.5 – 5.5, the Big Red fell just short of the Hornets. With the regular season completed, the Big Red will be able to quickly refocus on the upcoming Lakes Region Championship, where the top four golfers will play in an eighteen-hole stroke play competition.
